I Won!

I am glad to announce that I will get the chance to represent the fine people of Loreauville once again! I want to thank all the people who made it out to the polls to vote. It was really nice to get out and meet with everyone and learn about what's going on in their neighborhoods. I want everyone of the people that I visited with to know that I heard them loud and clear! Your concerns did not fall on deaf ears and will be addressed.

I want to thank my family who helped me and stood by me during the campaign. I also want to thank my opponent John Broussard who ran a good clean race. It was a close, well fought race to the finish, and the residents had two good choices for alderman.

My mom and mother-in-law are looking down on me tonight and I know they're proud. I want to thank my mom for all that I am. This ones for her.

Welcome to the Tony Broussard for Alderman Website! You're probably thinking this guy looks like he's running for Govenor! Well, I just so happen to own and operate a web design company that helps clients promote thier businesses on a worldwide stage, so it's nice to be able to do something for me for once.

Loreauville has always been a special place to me.
Being born and raised here, I have a deep appreciation for our villages’ past, present and future. I am the son of Harold and the late Pearly Broussard, married to Aggie
with two children, Mallory & Katelyn.

I'm running to remain as Alderman of the Village of Loreauville, Louisiana, a position I've held after being appointed in August of 2005. Since then I've taken an active role as part of a winning team with a positive attitude towards making Loreauville a better place to live. Our team has been working to give the village better water quality, and sewer pipe improvements that will help our sewer plant run more efficiently.

We're also looking into annexation, the expanding of the village limits as currently there is very little land available for businesses who want to locate here. Our goal is to increase revenue to provide better roads and services to you.

As a business owner, I have the experience to handle the job, and have been appointed as Finance Committee Chairman where our team is finding ways to make our water quality and sewer improvements a reality. I also represent Loreauville as a board member with the Iberia Development Foundation.

Most political slogans soon fade away after someone gets elected. I've never seen myself as a politician, but I've always been a people person. When I ran for Alderman last time, I made no huge promises that I couldn't deliver, instead, I promised that if called on by you with a concern, I would do my very best to take care of you. That's a promise I've kept and I can sleep at night knowing that I give 100% to you.

Having served these past months, I feel that our village has a winning team at the helm, and our residents are going to see the benefits as a result. I humbly ask to earn your vote to remain a part of our winning team.

On April 1st, I ask that you allow me to continue as your Alderman, I have the dedication and business experience it takes to get the job done!
